Founded on November 27, 2007 by Denise Girard, Cachet Urbain was born from an authentic passion for hairdressing, beauty, and hair care. The first boutique, located at 355 boul. Gréber in Gatineau, quickly distinguished itself through a unique concept: offering quality hair advice and professional hairdressing services under one roof.
With growing customer confidence, a second boutique opened at 50 boul. St-Raymond, in the Hull sector, to meet increasing demand and provide personalized service that remains true to the quality and attention that built its reputation.
Cachet Urbain continues to grow with its two thriving salons. In November 2025, the company takes a new step by launching its online store, offering its customers a new way to access its quality products and services.
Christine Girard: passion as a legacy
On September 29, 2019, Christine Girard, Denise's sister, takes over the family business, ensuring continuity and perpetuating the same vision: making Cachet Urbain a local beauty reference where expertise, listening, and passion come together.
